Happy Holidays!

It’s been a whirlwind of a year over here at the BMCAA, and what better way to round out the year than with a beautiful calligraphy workshop led by our fellow alumni, Sarah Kim 1T6.

Calligraphy, the OG typography, is a visual art form that is steeped in history and tradition. It’s a deeply communicative and expressive art that seems to in many ways parallel the duality of what many of us do everyday. The art is precise, technical, and structured, yet simultaneously organic, freeform, and liberating.

Thank you to everyone who could make it out to the session, to Bridgeable for generously hosting their space, and to Sarah Kim who shared her love and expertise for us all to enjoy. If you missed out and would like to find out more, you definitely need to check out Sarah’s work!

Finally, we just wanted to give the whole community a big shout out and thank you from the bottom of all our hearts here at the BMCAA. This is our last official post before the new team steps in this January 2019, and we’re proud to have served you for the last two years, and we’re all a little sad to be moving on from our roles.

With love,

The BMCAA Exec Team 2017-2018
